Tal Zakar

Tal Zakar is an experienced banking professional currently serving as Supervisor of Banks' Employees at the Bank of Israel since May 2023. Previously, Tal Zakar had a lengthy tenure at Union Bank of Israel from March 1998 to December 2022, holding various roles including Project Management Team Member, Branch Manager at the Mikado Branch, and Deputy Manager at the Romema Branch. Tal Zakar has extensive experience in retail banking, having served as Head of Retail Banking at multiple branches including Kiryat-Arye, Jerusalem Main, and Bnei-Brak. Additional roles include Deputy Manager in the Retail and Business Departments at the Ramat-Gan Branch and Business Banker at the Jerusalem Branch. Tal Zakar holds an MBA in Finance and a BA in Economics and East Asia Studies, both from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
