Tim Ginker

Data Scientist at Bank of Israel

Tim Ginker, Ph.D., is a data scientist at the Bank of Israel since August 2020. Previously, Tim served as a lecturer at Lev Academic Center, where a course in Data Analysis with Python was developed and taught. At Bar-Ilan University, Tim worked as a teaching assistant for undergraduate and graduate courses in economics and also contributed as a research assistant, focusing on statistical tools for financial time series modeling and derivatives pricing. Tim gained consultancy experience in antitrust matters at Compass Lexecon from January 2015 to January 2016. Tim holds a Ph.D. in Econometrics, a master's degree in Economics (magna cum laude), and a bachelor's degree in Economics and Management.
