Ahmed Darwish

Ahmed Darwish, CPA, MBA, is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in senior leadership roles across various financial institutions. Currently serving as the Country Chief for the Bank of Khartoum in Bahrain since December 2019, Ahmed was promoted due to prior success as Chief Financial Officer at BOK International Bank, where contributions included establishing the bank's GCC presence. Previous roles include Vice President of Financial Services at Sage Capital Management Group, where Ahmed enhanced group profitability, and Director of Finance and Operations at Tadhamon Capital, leading the setup of investment operations in Bahrain. Ahmed began the career at Ernst & Young as a senior auditor, where notable achievements included directing training on global audit methodology. Ahmed holds a Master of Business Administration from DePaul University and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Bahrain.
