Haju J.

Haju J. is a seasoned professional currently serving as the Manager of the Payment & Settlement Systems Department at the Bank of Korea, focusing on Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) initiatives and cross-border implications since June 2021. Previous experience at the Bank of Korea includes roles as an Economist managing the Consumer Sentiment Index and conducting market research, as well as monitoring household debt within the Financial Stability Department. Haju also contributed as an Associate Manager in the FX Reserve Management Group, overseeing financial reporting and compliance, and began a career at EY performing year-end audits. Military service was completed in the US Army as a Sergeant. Haju holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a BBA from Korea University.
