Junseo Park

Junseo Park, CFA, currently serves as the Head of the Foreign Exchange Accounting Team at The Bank of Korea, with responsibilities that include bank levy implementation, accounting, and settlement of foreign exchange reserves. With extensive experience in international finance, Junseo Park has held positions such as Senior Economist in the International Department at The Bank of Korea, focusing on currency swap arrangements among Korea, China, and Japan, as well as prior roles at The Bank of Japan and the Ministry of Strategy and Finance. Junseo Park's career at The Bank of Korea began in 1993, progressively advancing through various roles, including managing reserves and analyzing foreign exchange markets. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Economics from the University of Seoul, an MBA in Finance from the University of Rochester's Simon Business School, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Seoul National University.
