Ali Ghanty has a diverse work experience starting from 2003. Ali worked as a Communication Engineer at Blanche Birger Ltd from May 2003 to August 2007. Later, they joined Mxit as a Network Manager from September 2007 to November 2010. Following that, Ali worked as a Senior IT Engineer at Leal Communication and Informatics from September 2010 to December 2011. In 2012, they became an IP Engineer at Outremer Telecom, and they held this position until July 2014. From August 2014 to present, they have been working at Bank of Mauritius as Chief Information Technology and Chief Information Security Officer.

Ali Ghanty completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from the Management College of Southern Africa (MANCOSA) from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Information Systems from the University of Mauritius, completing it from 1998 to 2003.
