Mark Dunlop has a diverse work experience starting in 2001 as a Trainee Accountant at RSM Tenon. Mark then worked at PwC as an Audit Senior and was later promoted to Audit Manager. In 2007, they joined RenaissanceRe as a Senior Investment Accountant. Following that, they joined The Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited, where they held various roles including Senior Group Accountant, Financial Controller, Vice President, Head of Finance for Bermuda, and currently, Vice President, Head of Finance for Cayman. In their current role, they lead the Finance department and is responsible for fulfilling accounting, reporting, regulatory, budgeting, and forecasting requirements for Butterfield Cayman's operations. Mark also partners with the Managing Director and Business Heads to support the business. Mark Dunlop represents the Finance department on several committees, including the Group & jurisdictional Asset and Liability Committees and the jurisdictional Management Committee.
Mark Dunlop completed their education in a chronological order. Mark obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Accountancy & Finance from the University of Stirling in 2001. Later, from 2001 to 2004, Mark pursued further studies at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, earning the qualification of a Chartered Accountant.
