Daniel Brown, CPA, CA has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Daniel started their career as a Senior Auditor at Deloitte in 1988 before moving on to work as a Financial Analyst at Nortel Networks from 1991 to 1995.

In 1995, Brown joined Signature Vacations as a Manager in the Treasury department and worked there until 1997. Daniel then transitioned to CIBC, where they held several leadership positions. From 1997 to 2002, they served as an Executive Director of Finance at CIBC World Markets, conducting financial analysis and developing financial management reports. Daniel was later promoted to Vice-President of Finance for CIBC World Markets and successfully built a new reporting platform.

Daniel led a team of 150 professionals and transformed the group by improving efficiency and reducing headcount while maintaining financial governance. In 2007, they were promoted to the position of Vice-President, Chief Financial Officer for CIBC U.S., where they managed various functions, including Finance, Middle Office, Taxation, and Business Management, with significant revenues and assets.

Most recently, in 2020, Brown took on the role of Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer at the Bank of New Hampshire. In this role, they lead finance operations and strategic planning, overseeing financial analysis, regulatory and statutory reporting, and managing a team of professionals.
