Andrew Gibbons

Andrew Gibbons is currently serving as GM Legal Services and General Counsel at Bank of New Zealand since August 2023. Prior to this role, Andrew held various positions at ANZ Bank New Zealand from 2009 to July 2023, including Associate General Counsel for Corporate, Regulation, and Litigation, as well as Acting Head of Operational Risk and Compliance. Andrew's earlier experience includes serving as Senior Solicitor at Osborne Clarke, Associate at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, and Paralegal at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP. Andrew started the legal career as a Solicitor at Izard Weston. Educational qualifications include a J.D. from California Western School of Law and a BSc and LLB from Victoria University of Wellington.
