Martin Smith

Martin Smith has over 25 years of experience in senior project management, currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at InternetNZ since December 2020 and at Bank of New Zealand (BNZ) since August 2002. Notable roles at BNZ include Program Director, where Martin led major initiatives such as the 'End to End Lending' improvements and simplifications of insurance processes, as well as Head of Channel and Process Projects, overseeing the successful implementation of an internet banking replacement and an award-winning identity management service. Prior experience includes leading the project management team during a significant organizational transition and launching Custom Fleet NZ, a profitable motor vehicle fleet leasing subsidiary. Martin holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration in Business Administration and Marketing, a Diploma in Corporate Management, and a Diploma in Business Studies (Real Estate).
