Smita Anand

Smita Anand is a seasoned technical delivery manager with a robust background in Agile methodologies and software development. Currently serving in the role at Bank of New Zealand since November 2022, Smita has previously held key positions in notable organizations, including Release Train Engineer and Delivery Coach at New Zealand Customs Service, and Agile Coach at GS1 New Zealand and the Bank of New Zealand. Over a diverse career spanning more than two decades, Smita has also contributed to Westpac New Zealand Limited in various capacities, including Scrum Master and Technical Team Leader. Early experience includes significant technical roles at HP, Ministry of Social Development, Ministry of Justice, and Accenture, focusing on Java/J2EE applications and system modernization projects. Smita holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Victoria University of Wellington.
