Tyla Turner is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as an Associate in Cyber Testing at Bank of New Zealand since February 2023. Previously, Tyla worked as a Cyber Security Consultant in the Risk Advisory Business Unit at Deloitte from August 2021 to November 2022, following a summer internship in cyber security consulting. Tyla has also contributed to academia as a tutor for various cybersecurity courses, including CYBR372, CYBR373, CYBR371, and CYBR271, at Victoria University of Wellington from 2021 to 2022. Tyla's early work experience includes roles as a Retail Sales Assistant at Kmart Australia Limited and a Fast Food Team Member at McDonald's New Zealand. Tyla holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Cybersecurity Engineering from Victoria University of Wellington, completed in 2022.
