Graeme Woods

Graeme Woods is an experienced risk management professional currently serving as the Group Chief Risk Officer at Bank of Sharjah since September 2018, where direct responsibility for the development and execution of the Group risk strategy and framework is held. Previously, Graeme held leadership positions at First Abu Dhabi Bank as the Head of Credit Personal Banking, overseeing credit decisioning and collections operations, and at National Bank of Abu Dhabi as the Chief Risk Officer Global Retail, managing all risks across the Global Retail business. Graeme's extensive background in risk management includes roles at ANZ, where responsibilities spanned various segments including Chief Risk Officer for both Pacific and Personal Banking Divisions, managing substantial assets across multiple countries and divisions. Graeme's educational qualifications include a Graduate Diploma in Banking & Finance from Monash University and a Bachelor of Business in Accounting from Victoria University.
