Julie Castle

Julie Castle has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Julie currently serves as the Director at Bank of the Sierra. Prior to their current role, they served as the President of Rabobank N.A. from July 2017 to September 2019. Julie was responsible for all of the customer-facing business lines at Rabobank, N.A., a $15B OCC chartered bank. Julie was also a holding company board member, chair of Trust Committee, and member of the Board Risk Committee.

From May 2011 to January 2016, they served as the CEO of Zions Bancorporation's wealth management division and Chairman of Zions Trust, N.A. During their tenure, they consolidated all of the affiliate wealth management organizations into a single line of business and executed a strategic partnership with LPL Financial. This partnership spurred asset growth of over 90% in the first 9 months of the platform change. Additionally, they significantly improved the financial performance of the enterprise wealth management business.

From July 2007 to June 2011, they served as President of First Interstate Wealth Management and EVP of FIBS. Julie was also a board member of First Interstate Bank.

Julie Castle completed their BS at the University of California, Davis. Julie then attended the Pacific Coast Banking School for their graduate degree and obtained their Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation from the College for Financial Planning. Julie is currently a Pacific Coast Banking School faculty member, teaching banking leadership and management courses at the University of Washington.
