Dr. Greg Chola Nsofu

Dr. Greg Chola Nsofu has an extensive work experience, starting as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Botswana from March 1997 to December 1999. Dr. Greg Chola then worked at IZAZI Solutions, initially as a Programmer and later became the Head of ICT, driving IT Consulting sales in the financial sector.

After that, they served as a Programme Executive at Transnet Limited, responsible for the Transnet Business Intelligence (TBI) Unit. Dr. Greg Chola then joined Standard Bank Group as a Senior Manager, overseeing the Supply Chain Finance and Traditional Trade Programme and delivering various technology solutions to the bank.

Dr. Nsofu also held the position of Director of Information Technology (CIO) at the National Pension Scheme Authority from April 2015 to December 2021. Dr. Greg Chola served as the Board Chairman of NAPSA Stars Limited from an unspecified date in 2018 to December 2021.

In 2020, they became a Non-Executive Director at MTN Zambia. Dr. Nsofu currently holds various positions including Director - Information and Communication Technology at the Bank of Zambia, Board Member at the Zambia Electronic Clearing House, and University Council Member at Kapasa Makasa University.

Dr. Greg Chola Nsofu completed their BSc in Computer Mathematics at the University of Zambia from 1989 to 1994. Dr. Greg Chola later pursued a Post Grad in Business Administration at the University of KwaZulu-Natal from 2002 to 2005. Dr. Greg Chola continued their education at Stellenbosch University, where they obtained an MPhil in Economics Policy from 2007 to 2009. Finally, they completed their education journey with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Administration at Stellenbosch University from 2010 to 2014.
