Muuka Madubeko

Muuka Madubeko is an experienced professional at the Bank of Zambia, serving as the Assistant Director of Payment Systems Development and Operations since February 2008. In this role, Muuka is responsible for developing and implementing strategies and policies to ensure the safety and efficiency of the national payment system, while also managing risks and supervising staff. Previously, Muuka held various positions within the Payment Systems Department, including titles of Acting Director and Assistant Director. Prior to joining the Bank of Zambia, Muuka worked at Zambia National Commercial Bank PLC as a Management Trainee and Finance Officer, and at Mac Recruitment (Z) Ltd as an Accountant and Recruitment Consultant. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy from Copperbelt University, along with a Fellowship from the Fletcher Leadership Program for Financial Inclusion at The Fletcher School at Tufts University, and ACCA certification in Accounting and Finance.
