Aparna Muralidharan

Aparna Muralidharan is Chief Financial Officer at Bank Street College. She is responsible for providing overall leadership and financial guidance to the Business Office and the College.

Prior to joining Bank Street, Aparna served as Vice President of Risk and Compliance at Teach For America. In that role, she drove operational transformations across the organization. She was a change agent to strengthen and engage the executive team and the broader organization on operational efficiency, compliance, risk mitigation, and long-term sustenance. Aparna brings with her a comprehensive background in education and non-profit financial experience, strategy, and risk management.

Aparna is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with professional experience in diverse cultural contexts, industries, and mission-driven organizations. She passionately believes in the potential of education to positively transform the life of a child.
