David Haimbili

David Haimbili is a seasoned financial markets professional with extensive experience in foreign exchange trading and risk management. Currently serving as a Senior Trader at Bank Windhoek since January 2009, David specializes in Forex trading, hedging, and managing FX risk for clients. Prior roles include various positions as an FX Dealer, where responsibilities encompassed spot and forward trading, rate negotiations, and retail FX trading. Earlier career experience includes a junior FX trader position at Nedbank from January 2005 to December 2008. David holds a Master of International Business from the Namibia University of Science and Technology and a B.Sc. in Maths and Physics from the University of Namibia, alongside an Executive Management Program certificate from Stellenbosch Business School.
