Edouard Clauzel

Edouard Clauzel has over 17 years of professional experience in various roles in the finance sector. Edouard currently works as the Chief Financial Officer at Bankaya. Before joining Bankaya, they worked as the Executive Vice President of Finance Administration at Kueski. Edouard co-founded Leasy Financiamiento Sofom ENR in 2013 and served as its Chief Executive Officer for seven years.

At Leasy Financiamiento Sofom ENR, Clauzel successfully built a US$14 million loans portfolio with a 64% growth rate over the last 12 months and achieved YoY revenue growth of 66%, totaling US$6 million. Edouard also raised over US$27 million in funding through seed equity round with private investors and institutional lenders.

Prior to their work at Leasy Financiamiento Sofom ENR, Clauzel worked as a Senior Financial Analyst Consultant and Senior Financial Analyst at Luca Technologies. Edouard also served as an Equity Research Analyst - Energy Sector at Rice University Investment Fund - M.A Wright Fund and as a Summer Internship - Treasury Analyst at FMC Technologies.

Clauzel began their career in 2004 as a Trainee – Assistant Fixed Income Funds Manager at Neuflize OBC Bank. Later, they worked as an Investment Banking - Associate at Grupo Financiero Inbursa - CIB from 2006 to 2009.

Edouard Clauzel earned a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Administration from Burgundy School of Business - BSB, where they studied from 1999 to 2004. Edouard later pursued a Master's degree in Finance at Tecnológico de Monterrey from 2005 to 2006. Clauzel obtained an MBA in Finance from Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business from 2009 to 2011. Edouard also holds an ARGUS Software Certified (ASC) - Valuation - DCF certification from ARGUS Software, Inc.
