Murari Sridharan is the current Chief Technology Officer at BankBazaar.com, and has been in this role for 6 years and 5 months. In these roles, they helped evaluate problems and solutions and draft proposals for Internet-wide deployment. Murari also worked with the BitTorrent folks to standardize their proposal.

Prior to their time at IETF, they were the Principal Development Lead, Internet Protocols at Microsoft for 8 years and 11 months, and before that the Principal Engineer at RSoft Design Group for 1 year and 4 months.

Murari Sridharan has a PhD from Iowa State University in Computer Engineering, which they obtained in 2002. Murari's thesis was on the Design and Operation of Mesh-Restorable WDM Networks. Murari also has a B.E. from the University of Madras in Computer Science and Engineering, which they obtained in 1997. Murari went to high school at Shri Nehru Vidyalaya from 1988 to 1992.
