Karolina Žembė

Karolina Žembė is an Information & Cyber Security Advisor at Bankera. Karolina has previously worked as a Data & Reporting Analyst Cyber Operations Center at Barclays Group Operations Lithuania, an Attack Monitoring Team Intern at Barclays Group Operations Lithuania, and a Mathematics Tutor.

Žembė began their career in 2012 as a self-employed private tutor. Karolina tutored mathematics to students of all ages. In 2013, they became an Attack Monitoring Team Intern at Barclays Group Operations Lithuania. In this role, they were responsible for collecting, storing, and analyzing data. Karolina also implemented an effective process for the reporting of security incidents.

In 2014, Žembė became a Data & Reporting Analyst Cyber Operations Center at Barclays Group Operations Lithuania. In this role, they were responsible for collecting, storing, analyzing, and interpreting data. Karolina also developed and provided reports for stakeholders. In addition, they planned and coordinated KPIs, provided findings and most recent incidents, performed internal audit, Technology Control Self-Assessment, and Records Management.

In 2018, Žembė left Barclays Group Operations Lithuania to become an Information & Cyber Security Advisor at Bankera. In this role, they are responsible for advising the company on information and cyber security matters.

Karolina Žembė holds a Bachelor of Mathematics from Vilnius Tech - Vilnius Gediminas Technical University and a certification from EF Education First in EFSET Quick English Check - Score: Advanced / Proficient (CEFR C1/C2). Karolina also has a certification from Cybrary in Policy Development.
