Tamer El Gohary

Tamer El Gohary is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in corporate and investment banking. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Corporate & Investment Banking Coverage at First Abu Dhabi Bank since April 2021, Tamer has previously held leadership positions such as Head of Corporate Banking at Arab Bank for Investment & Foreign Trade and various senior vice president roles at Union National Bank, overseeing corporate banking for the Abu Dhabi region and large corporates across the UAE. Tamer's career began at HSBC, where roles included Manager and Deputy Division Head in corporate banking. Tamer holds an MBA in Finance from Alliance Manchester Business School, an Executive Education in Advanced Corporate Finance from London Business School, and has completed an Executive Training Program in Corporate Banking at HSBC Bank Egypt.
