Tarek El Rayes

Tarek El Rayes is an experienced information security professional with a strong track record in leading security initiatives across prominent organizations in Egypt. Currently serving as the VP-Head of Information Security at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) since September 2019, Tarek El Rayes has developed and implemented comprehensive information security strategies and governance frameworks. Prior to this role, Tarek held the position of Chief Information Security Officer at AXA from December 2015 to September 2019, where responsibilities included managing security programs and compliance with industry regulations. Tarek began a career at Commercial International Life Insurance as Information Security Manager and then progressed to IT Team Manager from January 2006 to December 2015. Tarek El Rayes holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from ESLSCA and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport.
