Byron Heifner

Byron Heifner has a strong background in the banking industry, with over 25 years of experience. Byron started their career at AmSouth Bank in 1995 as an Assistant Relationship Manager. Byron then moved on to Compass Bank in 2000, where they served as a Senior Financial Analyst in Community Banking and later as a Vice President in Commercial Banking. After their time at Compass Bank, they joined Bryant Bank in 2007 as a Senior Vice President in Commercial Lending. In 2018, they became the Chief Lending Officer at FNB of Central Alabama. Lastly, in 2019, they took on the role of Tuscaloosa Community President at BankFirst Financial Services.

Byron Heifner completed the Bank Executive Leadership Certification Program at the Alabama Bankers Association from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Certification in Banking from the Graduate School of Banking at LSU from 2014 to 2016. In 1999, they earned a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from the Birmingham School of Law. Byron completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Quantitative Finance from the University of Alabama from 1991 to 1995. Additionally, they participated in the Leadership Tuscaloosa program, although the exact years are not specified.
