Wolfgang Gaertner

Wolfgang Gaertner is the current Chairman of the Board at Banking Circle. Prior to this, they were with Clearstream, where they served as a member of the Supervisory Board. Wolfgang has also been with Wolfgang Gaertner Consulting and SWIFT. At SWIFT, they served as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) from January 2001 to December 2012. Prior to that, they were with Deutsche Bank from February 1998 to December 2016, where they served as the Global CIO with responsibility for IT and Operations in the company's Global Transaction Banking, Private and Business Clients, and Private Wealth Management and Asset Management divisions. Before joining Deutsche Bank, they were with Commerzbank AG from May 1985 to January 1998, where they served as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) responsible for IT in Foreign Branches and Capital Markets.

Wolfgang Gaertner is a German engineer who studied at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Wolfgang has a degree in economic engineering and works in the field of engineering management.
