Marc Scanapieco

Marc Scanapieco has a solid background in commercial and business banking, with experience in various roles and responsibilities. Marc is currently serving as the Vice President of Commercial & Business Banking at BankNewport, where they focus on providing innovative and flexible solutions for commercial real estate and other business banking products. Prior to this, Marc worked at Liberty Bank - CT as a Vice President and Business Banking Officer, overseeing small business lending and business development in a regional capacity. Marc also served as the President of Westerly Youth Soccer Association Inc from 2013 to 2019. Additionally, Marc has worked as a Commercial Loan Officer at both Westerly Community Credit Union and Citizens, managing portfolios and assisting clients with cash flow and budgeting needs. Marc began their banking career as a Small Business Specialist at Bank of America, where they developed new business relationships and offered a range of credit and treasury management products.

Marc Scanapieco earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance, General from the University of Rhode Island in 2002. Prior to that, they attended SUNY Westchester Community College in 2000, where they completed General Studies. Marc also graduated from Lakeland High School in 1996.
