Susan Viveiros

Susan Viveiros has an extensive work experience in the field of information security and privacy. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at BankNewport since March 2022.

Prior to that, Susan served as a Board Member for the FBI Boston Citizens Academy Alumni Association starting from February 2021.

Susan also worked as the Director of Data Information Security and Privacy at Ocean Spray Cranberries from March 2021 to April 2022.

Before joining Ocean Spray, Susan was the Vice President and Information Security Officer at BankNewport from October 2017 to March 2021.

Prior to that, they served as the Vice President Information Security Officer at HarborOne Bank from January 2015 to October 2017.

Susan gained valuable experience while working at CVS Caremark Corporation as the IT Security - Security Operations Center Team Lead from December 2012 to August 2014 and as an IS Architect from February 2012 to December 2012.

Susan also served as a Senior Intelligence Officer / AVP at RBS Citizens Group from January 2011 to February 2012.

Susan has earlier worked at BankNewport as an IT Security Officer from August 2004 to January 2011 and at Compass Bank as a Network Manager from January 1998 to August 2004.

Susan Viveiros has a degree in Business Continuity Management from Bryant University. Susan also holds several additional certifications including CCISO from EC-Council, CISA and CISM from ISACA Rhode Island, and GSEC from GIAC. Susan has also obtained the Certified Cyber Security Architect (CCSA) certification from ecfirst.
