Mark Werning has extensive experience in the banking industry, having held various leadership roles across multiple institutions. Currently serving as a Bank Board Member and Retired Banker at BankORION since February 2020, Mark previously worked as Vice President & Chief Operations Officer at Landjet, LLC, where the focus was on customer experience in executive mobile office services. At American Bank & Trust, Mark held the positions of Chief Operating Officer and Secretary, overseeing comprehensive bank operations, compliance, and human resources. Mark’s earlier roles include Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer at Triumph Community Bank, where responsibilities encompassed all facets of retail and branch operations, and SVP of Risk Management at THE National Bank, managing audit and compliance programs. Mark's education includes a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management from Luther College and a graduate degree in Auditing from the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, Wisconsin.
