Rob Thacher

Rob Thacher is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. As the Founder and CEO of BankShift since October 2020, Rob has demonstrated entrepreneurial expertise. Prior to this, Rob served as Managing Director of Software Engineering at Capital One for nearly 13 years, showcasing strong software development skills. Additional experience includes positions as Chief Technology Officer at Global Wireless Data and Co-Founder and CEO at Karbon Systems. Earlier in Rob's career, roles such as Director of Professional Services at WolfeTech Corporation and Non-Commission Officer in the US ARMY provided foundational leadership and management skills. Rob's educational background includes studies at Saint Leo University and Mount Sierra College.
