David J. Volk

David Volk is a long-standing member of the Bank’s Board of Directors, having joined as part of a stock purchase agreement with Castle Creek Capital. Mr. Volk, a principal of Castle Creek Capital, joined the firm in 2005 and has led or supported investments in numerous recapitalizations, distressed, and growth situations. Previously, he served as an associate for TW Associates Capital, Inc., providing merger and acquisition and corporate financing advisory services to small and middle-market companies located primarily in the Western United States. Prior to that, he worked at Ernst & Young, where he assisted clients with corporate restructurings, capital raising, and mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. Volk holds a bachelor’s degree from Santa Clara University and a Master of Science from the University of Virginia.
