David Cowles has over 20 years of work experience in the banking industry. David started their career at AmSouth Bank in 1995 as a Senior Vice President, where they worked until 2003. In 2003, they joined BankSouth as an Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer, a position they still hold.
David Cowles earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Banking from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where they attended from 1974 to 1978. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Organizational Management at Tusculum University for the academic year 1998-1999.
