Bruce Hanson

Bruce Hanson, CPA, currently serves as the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at BankStar Financial since January 2018. Prior to this role, Bruce was the Finance Manager at Sanford Health Plan from April 2016 to December 2017 and held the position of VP/Controller & Chief Accounting Officer at Home Federal Bank / HF Financial Corp. from October 2008 to April 2016. Bruce began their career at DakotaCare as VP/Controller from December 1996 to September 2008. Bruce holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting with a focus on Professional Accounting from the University of South Dakota.
