Carey Ransom serves as the Managing Director at BankTech Ventures, a strategic investment fund focused on community banking, bank technology, and fintech. Since 2019, Carey has been the Founder and Managing Partner of Operate, a venture studio dedicated to supporting product-centric entrepreneurs in building data-centric software companies. Additionally, Carey founded and hosts the Operate Podcast, showcasing global innovators and entrepreneurs. As a co-founder and chairman of Bonus, Carey aims to enhance financial security for homeowners through innovative selling solutions. Involvement with various companies as an investor and board member includes roles at Torpago, PortX, Trnsact, SailPlan, Knit, and Short Story. Education includes an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Finance from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BA in Economics from Indiana University Bloomington.
