Angel Cubero, CPP, has extensive experience in payroll and payroll tax management, currently serving as the Payroll Tax and Compensation Manager at BankUnited since October 2017. In this role, Angel administers payroll and payroll tax activities while providing consultation to managers and employees. Prior to this position, Angel spent over two decades at PAYCHEX INC, where roles included Trainer & Mentor, Implementation Supervisor, Client Service Supervisor, and Payroll Specialist. Responsibilities ranged from training specialists in tax laws and auditing client accounts to ensuring data integrity and maintaining high client satisfaction scores. Angel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University.
