Carlos Durand

Carlos Durand has extensive experience in the accounting and assurance field. Carlos is currently serving as the Vice President and Director of Accounting Policy at BankUnited since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Assurance Director at Marcum LLP, where they directed and managed various clients in the SPAC space and performed audits and reviews of their quarterly and annual reports. Carlos also led audits and reviews of SEC filings for public clients. Before joining Marcum LLP, Carlos worked as an Assurance Senior Manager at the same company.
