Ivan Peramas

Ivan Peramas has a diverse work experience in data operations and management. Ivan is currently serving as the VP, Head of Data Operations at BankUnited since January 2023. Before that, they worked as a Data Engineer at DivcoWest from February 2022 to January 2023. Prior to that, Ivan held the role of Sr. DBA Manager/Data Manager at Genworth from May 2004 to December 2021. Ivan also worked as a Sr. DBA/Data Manager at GE Capital from August 2000 to May 2004. Ivan has experience as a Sr Infrastructure Leader at Value America Inc. from July 1999 to August 2000 and as a Sr. Systems Analyst at Coors Brewing Company from June 1996 to July 1999. Ivan started their career at Kaiser Aluminum as a Sr Systems Analyst from January 1993 to June 1996.

Ivan Peramas has a Master of Science degree in Information Systems from Virginia Commonwealth University - School of Business, which they obtained from 2010 to 2011. Ivan also holds a Master of Science degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Gannon University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Weber State University. Additionally, Ivan has obtained certifications such as ITIL Foundation Level from Loyalist Exam Services in 2012, Kimball University in Data Warehousing and B.I. in 2011, Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) from GE in 2003, and various certifications from Microsoft and Oracle.
