Steven Philips

Steven Philips is a skilled Test Engineer currently employed at Banner Engineering since April 2023, with prior experience as a Staff Quality Engineer and Manufacturing Test Engineer at Itron, Inc. from October 2019 to April 2023. In these roles, Steven actively supported manufacturing activities, ensuring quality specifications were met through robust inspection and testing processes. A thorough understanding of SQL, LabVIEW, and MATLAB was utilized to develop software applications and execute effective test plans. Earlier experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of New Hampshire included a focus on high frequency plastic-pipe fusion systems and enhancing firmware for embedded microcontrollers. Additional volunteer experience with the Displaced People Center and an internship at ASIACELL TELECOMMUNICATIONS LLC provided valuable insights into data management and network configuration. Steven holds a Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of New Hampshire and a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications and Computer Engineering from Cihan University.
