David Bixby joined Banner (then Samaritan Health System) in 1998 as senior vice president, chief legal officer and general counsel for the organization.
He came to Banner with nearly two decades of service at the firm Lewis and Roca LLP (now Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie LLP). As an associate and partner with the firm, he specialized in corporate mergers and acquisitions, finance and health care law.
Bixby earned a bachelor’s degree in history and literature from Harvard University, a bachelor’s with honors in history from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, and a law degree from Yale Law School.
