Derek Anderson is a seasoned human resources executive with extensive experience in leading HR operations across various sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Acute Care HR at Banner Health since April 2015, Derek oversees HR for acute care facilities and the Academic Division, partnering with the Chief Operating Officer. Previously, Derek held key roles at Banner Health, including Executive Director of HR - Community Delivery and Senior Director of Talent Acquisition, where recruitment efforts spanned multiple states. Prior to Banner Health, Derek spent a decade at Target, where as Human Resources Director, oversight included HR operations for 60 stores, achieving numerous awards for operational excellence and employee engagement. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Arizona State University.
