Katherine Torres

Katherine Torres, RN, is a highly experienced registered nurse currently serving as an RN Patient & Family Educator at Banner Health since January 2018, with additional roles in labor and delivery and childbirth education. Co-founding a Postpartum Mood and Anxiety Disorder Support Group at Banner Tucson Campus highlights a commitment to supporting new parents. Torres also serves as a Clinical Instructor for OB and Postpartum at Pima Community College until August 2024. Previous nursing experience includes per diem labor and delivery nursing at Tucson Medical Center and childbirth education at Baby Caravan, LLC. A background at NYU Langone Health involved clinical leadership and Lamaze childbirth education. Torres holds a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from New York University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government, Women's Studies from Clark University.
