Banner Personnel Service opened its doors on September 28, 1970 when Jim Singer decided to purchase a Chicago employment agency. While the company’s initial focus was placing fresh college graduates into management trainee positions, Banner continued to grow and add further specialties. Jim’s wife, Emel, ran the company after his death, until her retirement in 2012. Under new ownership, today Banner is celebrating nearly 5 decades in business.
