Mehmet Koach

Mehmet Koc (Koach) has a solid background in software development and engineering. Mehmet is currently working at Banner Technologies as a Senior Software Development Engineer, where they are responsible for designing and implementing a customer-centric SaaS platform for real estate operators in North America. Prior to this, Mehmet worked at Amazon as a Software Development Engineer II, where they played a crucial role in integrating digital products onto the Amazon website and app, as well as enhancing customer security and improving the functionality of Alexa's voice-to-app context switch feature. Before joining Amazon, Mehmet worked at MeridianLink as a Software Development Engineer, focusing on full-stack development and creating unified verification services for credit originators and verification service resellers. Mehmet also assisted with the candidate interviewing process to attract top-tier software development talent. Mehmet has previous experience as a Teaching Assistant at UC San Diego, where they supported engineering computation courses, and completed engineering internships at Ilorya Intelligent Vision and Aselsan.

Mehmet Koc (Koach) began their education in 2007 at Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Mehmet successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2012.

Following their bachelor's degree, Mehmet went on to pursue a Master of Science (MS) degree at UC San Diego. From 2012 to 2014, they studied Electrical and Computer Engineering with a focus on Intelligent Systems.

In addition to their formal education, Mehmet has obtained two certifications. In March 2018, they earned the GIAC Advisory Board certification from the Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC). Mehmet also obtained the GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) from GIAC Certifications during the same period.
