Victor Herrera

Mr. Victor Herrera has spent the last 8 years of his career as a Categorical Program Assistant, Accounting Technician, and most recently the Business Manager for Lennox School District, in Los Angeles. Prior to serving in the business services department, Mr. Herrera spent 5 years in the classroom as a Science Department Teacher Assistant.

Mr. Herrera earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Finance from California State University, Northridge and successfully completed the Fiscal Crisis and Management Assistance Team (FCMAT) Chief Business Official Mentor Program in May 2021 Mr. Herrera is on schedule to receive his Certification from the California Association of School Business Officials (CASBO). He has also achieved his Certificate of Achievement in Accounting from Los Angeles Valley College in May 2020.

Today Mr. Herrera serves as the Banning Unified School District's Chief Business Officer serving as a leader for the the Fiscal Services, Maintenance, Operations and Transportation, and Nutritional Services Department.
