Laura Pescador

Laura Pescador possesses extensive experience in the financial services industry, currently serving as Deputy Head of Back-Office at BCV - Banque Cantonale Vaudoise since September 2015, with previous roles including Market Data Manager and Business Controller, Specialist Manager Derivatives Operations, and Business Analyst. Prior to this, Laura spent a decade at Thomson Reuters, where responsibilities included managing client relationships across Europe, providing financial application support, and leading client training teams. Laura initiated the Client Training department at Reuters de Mexico and began a career at Reuters Italia Spa as a Financial Application Specialist. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in International Economics from Università Bocconi and further studies at the University of Geneva. Areas of expertise encompass financial markets, leadership, strategic planning, and various asset classes including fixed income and commodities.
