Ahmed Effat

Ahmed Effat is a seasoned banking professional currently serving as Deputy CEO at Banque du Caire since January 2023. Prior to this role, Ahmed held various leadership positions at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank from December 2009 to January 2023, including Consumer Banking Head and Retail Risk Head. Ahmed also served as Retail Risk Head at Banque Misr from 2008 to 2009, and played significant roles at Citibank Egypt from 2003 to 2009, including Branch Area Manager and Cards Collections Head & Fraud Risk Manager. Educational credentials include an MBA in Management from the Arab Academy Graduate School of Business (2005-2007), a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Helwan University Cairo (1994-1997), and an MBA in Business Administration and Management from The Arab Academy For Management, Banking And Financial Sciences.
