Hesham El-Gebaly

Hesham El-Gebaly has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity and IT management. Hesham is currently serving as the Head of Cybersecurity at Banque du Caire since November 2022. Before that, they worked as a Cyber Security Team Leader at IP Protocol INC from March 2022 to November 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Cyber Incident Analyst Responder at MM Sons from May 2016 to March 2022. Hesham also worked as a Corporate IT Manager at Egypac, Newfinepac, Interpac & Elf for the Manufacturing of Corrugated Boxes and Cardboard Paper from April 2010 to May 2016. Hesham started their career as a Network Administrator at Orange Business Services from May 2007 to May 2010.

Hesham El-Gebaly obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Business/Trade/Commerce from Helwan University Cairo in 2007. Hesham then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Strategic Management from Victoria University, which they completed in 2015. Hesham also holds various certifications in the field of cybersecurity, including the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and Cisco Cyber Ops. In 2022, they obtained certificates from Microsoft and IBM related to cloud security and data protection.
