Zeyad Abdelghafar

Zeyad Abdelghafar is a seasoned banking professional currently serving as the Sector General Manager and Head of Core Banking Transformation at Banque du Caire, where responsibilities include leading the end-to-end core banking transformation and overseeing integrations with digital channels. Previous experience includes heading the Core Banking Center of Excellence at Cairo Bank Uganda, as well as serving as a Banking Applications Advisor at HD Bank. Zeyad has a strong entrepreneurial background as the co-founder and Services Director of Masaref BSC and has held significant roles in Islamic Development Management at Al-inma Bank. Zeyad's technical expertise was honed at Temenos as a Technical Consultant and earlier as a Senior Developer at Suez Canal Bank. Zeyad holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Modern Academy Maadi.
