Jose Arauz

Jose Arauz is a seasoned visual effects professional with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Effects from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Currently serving as Lead Compositor and VFX Supervisor at BANQUET VFX since April 2025, Jose has held roles as a Freelance Compositor at both House of Parliament and Crafty Apes in March 2025. Previously, from April 2022 to February 2025, Jose was a Senior Nuke Compositor at The Mill, and from July 2015 to April 2022, Jose advanced through various positions including Senior Nuke TD and Nuke Compositor at Framestore. In addition to extensive VFX experience, Jose briefly worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer at Diseñarte in December 2012, and has customer service experience obtained during a winter break.
