Michael Scissons is a Canadian entrepreneur and business executive. Michael is the Co-Founder of Bansho, a startup studio based in New York City. Michael also has experience as a board member, global vice president, and CEO.

Prior to Bansho, Michael was a Co-Founder & Chairman at FlashStock, which was acquired by Shutterstock in 2017. Michael helped brands like J&J, Kraft, Pepsi, Smirnoff, L'Oreal, McDonalds, Mercedes, JP Morgan, and Anheuser-Busch create custom imagery through their network of global contributors.

Before FlashStock, Michael served as the Global Vice President of eCommerce at Anheuser-Busch InBev from 2013 to 2016. In this role, they were responsible for developing the company's eCommerce strategy and roadmap across 60 countries.

From 2006 to 2007, Michael was the Director of National Sales in Canada for Facebook. Michael started their career in sales at Syncapse Corporation where they eventually became the President & CEO before the company was acquired by LookSmart in 2013.
