Tanvir Ahmed

Tanvir Ahmed is a Process Engineer in Training at Bantrel Co. since March 2022, contributing to multi-discipline project teams within the downstream oil and gas industry by delivering project studies, specifications, drawings, plans, and designs for capital projects. Previous experience includes a role as a Chemical Engineer (Co-op) at Syncrude Canada Ltd., where a tool for predicting foulant growth in Fluid Coker scrubber grids was developed, and an Engineering Maintenance Student (Co-op) position at Aurora Cannabis Inc., focusing on digital asset organization for maintenance management systems. Tanvir also served as a Process Control Lab Assistant (Co-op) at the University of Alberta, controlling PID controllers for lab experiments, and as a Production Engineer (Co-op) at Celanese, where daily operational activities were overseen. Tanvir holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta, completed in August 2021.
